[The soft moments of affections they share, the dance lessons, the evening they spent with Vincent... Aether always looks back fondly at those memories.] I have no doubt that the half of my heart is in good hands.
[The expression Vanitas makes when he's given the feather seems to be too much for Aether's heart. It jumps in his chest, like it wants to be let out and it takes all self-control for the traveler to not pull the other closer once more and press soft kisses all over his face.

I'm glad... [He whispers. There's still guilt in him that he couldn't do more. He presses a hand over his heart, clutching his shirt. Even if it wasn't much he could still do sometimes.

Haha... At least you're well aware that it's deliberate. Some people don't, and thus they fall for it. [Despite his reservations about his own worth, he can't help but trust in Aether's belief in him, to some degree.] That... makes me feel truly special, I hope you realize.

[Closing his eyes, Vanitas nods, taking hold of Aether's hands in his own so he can gently run his fingers over his knuckles, affectionately touching each one. He has plans for that little feather, that symbol of their friendship and the hope it inspires within him.]
