[Noé can't help being wary. Confused. Of course, he was aware that his clan had all been killed. But he hadn't necessarily considered that the Chasseurs were that interested. That any of them would know of his particular clan and their abilities. Maybe he shouldn't have said anything.]
[Seeing that he has Noé cornered as it were, a fair bit of tension drains from Vanitas' shoulders. He's calm, feeling that he's in control of the situation, that he has the upper hand. He doesn't need to be overly wary of the vampire from this distance yet; even with his speed and strength, it would take a moment to reach him. Enough time that he could defend himself.]

[This time, as he slowly approaches, Vanitas puts one of his knives away and extends a hand, seemingly in offer, like he's welcoming Noé forward.]

[He blinks, his eyes widening for a second before he narrows them in confusion. Vanitas had been trying to kill him, and now he was asking a favor? Just what was going on with this guy? [His stomach still hurts, his hand still trying to keep pressure on it as he is cornered. Backed against the edge of the roof as Vanitas had likely planned and wanted.]
