[It's sweet that Noé is so kindhearted as to care about him even now, when they barely know each other and he's been all but using him since the second they met. He figures he's stunned the vampire into a slight state of shock with his tale, despite him not seeming overly affected by him being part of the Blue Moon clan. Now with them both cleaned up, he seats himself back on bed across from Noé, gaze fixed on a faraway point. At least until Noé startles him out of it with a gentle touch to his cheek.]

He assumes they probably took him in for some reason, but he's never really questioned what they might get out of it. How they might make use of having access to him, his abilities. The chances of them forcing him to feed from people to access their memories or some such. He's never had reason to think too deeply about it. But then, that is likely not so surprising, given he's so trusting and oblivious.]

It seems like he's been deliberately kept in the dark as a means of controlling the poor guy, on top of him being so naturally innocent and naive. Sighing, Vanitas snatches up his clothes and starts getting dressed, keeping his eyes on the floor rather than Noé or even the garden outside, where he can see tempting freedom just a hair's breadth away. He's certain they gave him this luxurious room with a view both as under the pretense of being welcoming and to tease and mock him with the illusion of autonomy.]

Making sure he looks put together and as neat as possible, he turns to Noé once the other is dressed as well and does the same, straightening his clothes and tidying his hair with his fingers. And hopefully the smell of Vanitas' blood will be more prominent than that of their sexual encounter.]

[More like help Vanitas get hopelessly lost and have the doctor somehow end up leading him around anyway. But. He'll.....try? At least? He closes one eye and tries to stay still as Vanitas fixes up his hair, then his clothes. But he doesn't recall anything specific that he was told about not letting Vanitas leave the room? So it's probably fine? He wants to get his book back, anyway. So he nods, likely appearing confident even in the face of his hopelessness with directions and navigation.]

[It would be just his luck that they'd end up going in circles or waltzing into the guards' barracks... But Noé is his only hope, as he was escorted here without any detours and has no clue where to start looking for his book. So once they're both straightened out, he strides for the large door leading out, coming to a stop by it to turn and wait for Noé to catch up.]
