Well, you could liken it to a science in that it requires making mistakes to find the perfect formula.

[Not quite what he has in mind, but at least the general notion seems to get across if nothing else. While he wouldn't mind "experimenting" with Noé for fun, he's thinking more along the lines of a general romantic lean to proceedings. Except perhaps that's rather pointless given how obtuse the vampire is. It doesn't even seem to register to him that Vanitas is gradually stripping himself down... How frustrating.

He probably won't be allowed in the kitchen for a long while - not with knives and other sharp implements on hand as potential weapons. But he means what he says about feeding Noé; he may be a scoundrel and a liar, but this innocent fellow has been gradually worming his way into his heart. To the point he would feel bad almost tricking him.]

I can. And yes, I know that one. I can prepare it, easy. You just get me into the kitchen later.

[Once the buttons are freed, he sits up enough to slide both vest and shirt from his shoulders, leaving his torso exposed and his various scars visible. Laying a hand on Noé's cheek, he traces his jawline before reclining back, voice low and sensual.]

For now, though... I want you to feast on me...

Tarte tatin! Yes!

[He will probably never not get excited about his favourite dessert. The way he brightens with enthusiasm at Vanitas confirming that he does know of the dessert and how to make it is not unlike a child excited for sweets. Noé isn't even considering that the other probably isn't allowed in the kitchen. Or anywhere else in the mansion for that matter.

He all but bounces in his enthusiasm, before Vanitas reaches for his cheek, his jaw, and he finally seems to register that the other has taken off his shirt. Violet eyes blink and take in the scars. How pale the other is in comparison to him. He swallows, before he tilts his head, his hair still a mess and bangs hanging down as he remains above Vanitas.]

On you?

[It might be debatable which way he means that question. Whether he should take that as an invitation to feed. Or if the other means to continue teaching him to kiss. Because he can't mean this literally.....]

Heh. A favorite of yours, then?

[It's quite sweet how innocent and jubilant Noé gets over something so seemingly simply as a dessert, but he supposes there may not be many highlights in the life of one who's essentially a pet for the Comte. At least that's how Vanitas sees it. Always in terms of who can use who. And in this case he hopes it will be him using Noé. If he can get permission to hang out in the kitchen, then from there it's only a step to freedom.

His gestures are tender, bordering on loving in the way he brushes his fingers over Noé's dark skin, smooth and warm. It's not surprising the guy hasn't much clue what he means; he doesn't seem the most astute when it comes to flirtations and innuendo. So, heaving a slight sigh, Vanitas weaves his fingers into the hair on the back of the vampire's head, pressing him in closer as he tips his head to one side, exposing his neck.]

Yes, me. I want you to kiss me, bite me, mark me up. I'm meant to be yours, remember?

[The answer to that is "all of the above and then some" honestly. Though he does draw the line at chowing down on him. That's a bridge too far.]

Yes! Tarte tatin is my favourite dessert!

[The only reason he doesn't have it for every meal is probably because Teacher and Domi talked to the kitchen staff and reminded them that he should have other foods as well. Still, he's far too distracted by the prospect of getting his beloved dessert to really consider how Vanitas could be manipulating and using him in his own way. That there was a reason Vanitas was offering.

Let alone this. His violet eyes widen briefly as Vanitas pulls him back down more, exposing his neck to him. His lips purse, as if he's considering for a moment, until Vanitas clarifies and explains. Meant to be his? Was this okay? He supposes it is. Otherwise, Vanitas wouldn't be suggesting it. He isn't really reading into it. What Vanitas might get out of it. He swallows, taking a breath before he lowers further, pressing his lips against Vanitas's collarbone as his eyes flutter closed.]

Heh... That's so sweet. Well, we'll see about me making it for you.

[It's so easy to imagine Noé in the kitchens, asking the staff for tarte tatin for breakfast and lunch and dinner. Enough that Vanitas has to laugh lightly at the prospect. It'd likely be like a carrot on a stick to get him doing things for him in exchange for the sweet dessert. So easy he almost feels a touch guilty. Almost.

While it might seem like he's surrendering to the vampires' whims by allowing himself to be used and fed upon, in reality for Vanitas it's yet another manipulation tactic. The sooner those in power think he's complying, the more likely they are to let their guard down and enable him to wander about more areas of the estate. Even just the bedrooms would be an improvement over being confined to his two-room wing. So as Noé leans in, breath ghosting over his skin, he forces himself to relax, reminding himself that it's a necessary evil to survive. ...and it doesn't feel bad, he has to admit. Thankfully Noé is a fine specimen of vampirehood, leading Vanitas to encourage him by pressing on his head more.]

[It isn't exactly hard to figure Noé out. He's hardly the sort not to wear his heart on his sleeve, or to hide things. There isn't really anything all that subtle or hidden about him. What with how open and trusting he is. So it's easy for Vanitas, or anyone else for that matter, to take advantage of that. To make use of that.

He isn't considering Vanitas's motivations for this. How the other is mostly using him for his own reasons. Noé leaves kisses that trail higher gradually. Once he gets to the neck, there's a moment where his tongue licks at the skin, a pause as if he is considering. But, well, Vanitas had given permission, right? This was okay? He hesitates for a brief moment before his eyes change hue to more of a deep red, his fangs bared as he then leans in more, piercing the skin at the other's neck. His hands hold to Vanitas at his waist and shoulder, trying to be mindful of how much weight he uses as his body presses against the other from being on top of him.]

[The ironic thing is that very weakness, that vulnerability that makes him easy prey for someone like Vanitas, also instills a strange sort of protectiveness towards him. Because he knows what it's like to be at the mercy of others, used and abused for his body and nothing else. It's hypocritical, but then, who isn't?

He already figures Noé is the sort of innocent who doesn't think ill of others, who trusts them to treat him well and would be hurt if they didn't. So he doesn't mind letting the vampire have his way with him in exchange for the help he'll hopefully receive in return. A mutual aid sort of thing, really. He feels the warm wetness of Noé's tongue against his skin and shivers lightly, fighting the urge to tense his body in preparation of what's to come. It doesn't take long, nor is it difficult for those fangs to pierce his flesh, leaving him gasping lightly and fingers twisting in the strands of white hair at the back of his head, still encouraging him ever onward. It's a different sensation than having his arm bit... Much more sensual and erotic, making him squirm with pleasure as the other keeps from weighing him down too much.]

[Noé figures if the other is aware that he is an Archiviste that he is aware of Noé's particular ability regarding what happens when he feeds. Seeing memories. It's as if he is in Vanitas's place. Even with permission, it feels...like he is intruding. At a rather unfair advantage in comparison to how little Vanitas knows about him. Then again, he isn't sure how much the other had been told about him before meeting.

His hold on Vanitas tightens some, but not painfully so, as he tries to keep being mindful of the other's body and cues. He doesn't want to take too much. To leave the other too weak or anything. The only sound aside from Vanitas is Noé's soft hum of pleasure as he laps at the other's neck. There's something still somehow gentle about the way he feeds, the way he holds Vanitas as he does. He's practiced at this, at least. More out of necessity than anything else, but he's experienced enough when it comes to this. Oblivious as he is when it comes to other intimacy.]

[If Noé appearance hadn't made it clear who and what he is, then undoubtedly Vanitas was told specifically who he was to be courting. Likely as a threat. Little did they know he cares precious little for himself outside of a desire to simply go on living as he is. A contradiction, letting vampires feed from him without knowing how much they'll take, but then that's him. Always an enigma.

In spite of himself, Vanitas finds he quite likes being held so securely... It's almost as though Noé care about what happens to him. Which is a laugh - no one ever has, and no one ever will, that much he's sure of. He sort of hopes the vampire will drain him dry, leaving him to fade away and spoil those bastards' plans. Though he imagines the punishment for Noé would be great, and he doesn't want that either. How strange... Still, the care with which his partner latches onto him is alluring, making him relax and go limp, feeling the blood flowing from his veins into the other's waiting mouth. He's just grateful Noé isn't one to be too rough; he might have no sense of self-preservation, but he hates pain. Hates it.

Hugging Noé tight against his front, Vanitas breathes hard, chest rising and falling with ever throb of his veins that pushes more blood towards his assailant, if one could consider him such.]

[Noé doesn't take that much. It isn't actually all that long before he pulls back after licking the last drops from the puncture wounds. May as well not let it go to waste. If he were attacking, this might be quite different. But in this case, he is able to take his time if he wishes. To try to make it as good an experience for Vanitas as he can. He subconsciously licks at his lips before wiping at his face, unsure if there might still be some blood, possibly smearing some a bit at his cheek in the process.

His cheeks seem more flushed, his eyes shifting hue back to their usual violet colour as he pulls back, glancing down at Vanitas through his mess of bangs to check in on him. It was so different from when he had fed on others. Even with Domi. Though he isn't quite sure, he could describe why. Yet, anyway.]

Mm, are you okay? That wasn't....it wasn't too much?

[It both lasts for what feels like an eternity and yet not, with those precious fangs sunk into his skin. Which tingles with pleasure from whatever substance vampires emit to calm their prey, and while Noé's tongue is nice and warm and wet, there's a chill after he pulls back to breathe, leaving Vanitas shivering slightly. Through half-lidded eyes, he watches his partner clean up, leaving only the faintest trace of red at the corner of his lips.

Something Vanitas himself aims to take care of, by drawing Noé in towards his mouth, his own tongue darting out to lick the vampire's lips clean as he holds him in place with firm hands. All before kissing him properly once more, savoring the coppery tang of his own blood on the other's tongue. Eventually though, he allows him to pull away so they can breathe, sighing a bit. His hands weave through Noé's hair, gently ruffling it and combing the short strands affectionately.]

I'm fine. [As if that wasn't already obvious.] It was just right, so no need to worry your pretty head.

[Noé will maybe eventually not be surprised by Vanitas pulling him in for a kiss. Or maybe Vanitas will always feel the amusement and satisfaction of that look of surprise on his face initially. It doesn't take long before he relaxes, though. His hand at Vanitas's waist, raising to his chest as his lips obediently part after a second, his hair falling down against the other slightly in the process, even if it isn't anywhere near so long as Vanitas's. He does slightly better with trying to remember to breathe through his nose, at least. And it isn't quite as fumbling or clumsy. There is some slight improvement as he instinctively tilts his head, his fingers clutching and nails just lightly scraping against Vanitas's chest in the process.

He pulls back, well aware that he's probably rather red, but gives a sheepish smile, relieved as Vanitas reassures him as he catches his breath a bit.]

Good. I'm glad.

[Part of him hopes that the shock and wonder never ceases, as it provides him with endless entertainment. Already he's discovered that he quite likes watching the kaleidoscope of expressions that whirl about on Noé's face as he kisses him. That he's improving so quickly as well proves that he can be taught, which is a bonus in Vanitas' mind. Innocent and inexperienced has its perks, but there's something to be said for taking a lover who is capable of keeping up and learning the ropes as it were. Clearly he just needs to do this more often, which the human is most happy to oblige in. He especially appreciates the light rake of nails over his exposed skin, jolting a bit as he hits a scar. It isn't painful, thankfully, but it does feel different.

Thankfully once they part this time, he gives Noé a quick affectionate peck by way of thanks, drawing his tongue over his lips to catch the little bit of saliva left from their kiss.]

You aren't half bad at this... Soon you'll even be an expert, I'd say.

You think so?

[He says after he blinks at the way Vanitas's tongue darts out at his lips. It isn't like he was able to see it, and if he felt the saliva still there, he'd probably just have either licked at it or simply wiped at it with his sleeve, much to Domi's chagrin. He really had no particular care for his appearance whatsoever.

Still, he does seem to brighten, glad that Vanitas says he's improving. That it was okay. Almost akin to the way a puppy might get excited at being praised or given a toy. Like he is eager to please Vanitas. And it really does not take much to encourage or motivate him. He's rather obvious and simple in his likes, hardly the most subtle.]

Quite. You have natural skill.

[Is that him shoveling shit or just being his usual flirty self... It's so difficult to tell where one ends and one begins. Clearly though somebody's got to care for this boy's appearance, because he's certainly one handsome devil when done up presentably. That much Vanitas isn't oblivious to at all.

Noting the enthusiasm with which Noé receives the praise, he makes a mental note to use a rewards system rather than something uncouth like threats with him. Not only does it seem like it would fare better, but in a battle of physical feats, he knows he's damn well out-classed by a vampire. Their accursed inhuman strength... So yes. Gentle kindness and persuasion seems the best way to go with this one.

Idly, he pets at Noé's cheek, gazing into his now once again purple eyes. Though speaking of vampires...]

What all can you do when it comes to rewriting the world formula? I know the de Sades are famous for their ice manipulation. How about you?

[It. Is not like he has anything to compare his skills in intimacy against, really. But Vanitas isn't wrong when he guesses it would be better to incentivise the vampire with rewards. It isn't like it really takes all that much to appease him. To make him brighten like a young toddler on Christmas morning. He's rather simple in that way, which probably makes it easier for Vanitas to take advantage of, once he gets to know the other better.

He tilts his head a little at the question, looking a little sheepish.]

Ah....I'm not really that great. I can use it to enhance my physical ability. And sort of with gravity, though....just standing on the wall or ceiling can make me nauseous....Domi is better at it than I am.

You do indeed.

[Not an empty compliment by far, as he quite enjoyed their little kisses, inexperienced as he is. Slowly, Vanitas is learning what makes Noé tick and how to best leverage that against him for his own means. Though he's yet to really put it to the test, he figures it's better to build up a rapport with him before asking anything too big.

At his sheepishness, Vanitas draws his hand down along the side of the other's neck, down the front to his collarbone.]

Useful, if nothing else. You don't need to be flashy if you can use your skill in creative ways. The de Sade woman... Is she here presently?

[Because she might be a problem if she is. He's heard she's no sucker, for sure.]

Ah, did you want to see Domi? I can get her for you. She's around somewhere....?

[He doesn't think twice about offering. Probably in part because, well, as protective as he is over his childhood friend, he is well aware she is capable enough to handle things. He doubts that anything would happen, though. He just figures that Vanitas wanted to talk to her about something or other. Most of the time, it is not like he is told everything about what is going on around the mansion or such. Just what others felt necessary that he needed to know. Which isn't usually all that much.

Besides, he figures it is just an inevitability that Vanitas would meet Domi at some point, if they were to be married and all. Domi was practically family, after all. So, of course, he would introduce her to him. Not that she might necessarily be all that thrilled about this.]

No--! No, that's quite alright... I'm sure we'll meet eventually. I just know she attends to various businesses here and there...

[Yeah, great save there, Vanitas. Oh well, despite sounding a touch uncertain, he manages to regain his composure fairly quickly, coughing a bit out of nerves. As though to overcome his loss of control, he snags Noé by the shirt, tugging him down onto the bed beside him and allowing himself the chance to crawl on top of the vampire's hips, hands splayed out on his chest. A bit of a compromising position to be sure, though knowing Vanitas, that's probably the whole idea...]

I'm more interested in you, truthfully.

[And that's not a lie or deceit, either. He truly is becoming fascinated with the man beneath him.]

Oh. I guess. Yes, she's here somewhere. Probably with Teacher or something.

[If he was going to say anything more, it's not coming out, but a little noise of surprise does as Vanitas pulls him back down next to him. He doesn't resist, merely instinctively lying there blinking up at the other. Even someone as oblivious as he is has some idea that this is a bit of a compromising position. However, it isn't as if Vanitas would have that many visitors. The chance of anyone else walking in on them is fairly slim, really.

He can feel his cheeks heat when the other says he's more interested in him. Given that it is not as if he's had anyone say this sort of thing before, or be in such a position, it's all rather obvious and easy for him to be flustered about it, as he swallows. Even if he could easily push or throw Vanitas off of him, he doesn't. He allows it as the other climbs on top of him. Probably in part from the surprise, and in part because he yet sees no reason to stop him. Vanitas doesn't seem to want to harm him. So it's probably fine.]

Good. Let them stay together for a while. I've got business with you.

[Compromising business, as it turns out. The kind that would definitely raise a few eyebrows and get him into vast amounts of trouble should anyone else see them, given he's supposed to be the prisoner and Noé one of the exalted keepers. That thought burns at Vanitas' mind, reminding him that his whole goal in this fiasco is to try getting out, not wooing his betrothed. ...although the idea itself does have some merit to it. It would probably earn him points with Ruthven and company to play along with their game.

Besides, perhaps blowing off some steam would do him some good... He's been nothing but tense since his capture, thinking of precious little aside from escape. Now though... he has a new plaything to enjoy. One who's oh so innocent and definitely untouched. Idly, he starts unbuttoning Noé's shirt and vest, intent on leveling the playing field between them.]

You. You're a conundrum, a mystery. You have so much strength, so much power, yet you let me manhandle you without a care. You seem oblivious to our positions, yet clearly you're not stupid. I want to know more about you... What makes you tick.

Business? Wh -- um...?

[It's not like he tries to stop Vanitas. The other had already removed his shirt, anyway. And it isn't like it was all that cold. At least for him. Murr simply glances at the two of them from his position at the bedside table, eyeing Vanitas but not seeming to figure anything was wrong. Probably in part because the vampire was so instinctively compliant, not really thinking as he shifts to help remove his shirt and vest, sitting up just enough to pull them off before lying back down.]

That's..well, I don't want to hurt you? And you haven't actually hurt me or anything, so. There's no reason for me to use that strength?

[He tries to explain, unsure if he is wording it very well as his hair fans out on the pillow underneath his head. It's hard to really get a good read on Vanitas, what his intentions might be just yet. He swallows, lips pursing together as he glances up to the other above him.]

[Very personal business, if the way he's acting is any indication. Though it's no surprise that it goes rather over Noé's head, he can't help but laugh quietly at how damn compliant the vampire is, even going so far as to help undress him. Either he's into it too, or, more likely, he's clueless as to Vanitas' intentions. Oh well. He'll make it perfectly clear in due time. Probably once he gets his hands on where it really counts. If he doesn't get it then, in that case Vanitas may have to call the whole thing off so he doesn't feel gross.]

Hmm... I suppose that all is true. Though I meant what I said about snapping your neck earlier.

[With the top half of his clothes out of the way, he trails both hands over the dark skin of his chest, moving up to trace his collarbone before slipping his fingers around Noé's neck. Like he plans on throttling him, save for the fact he's applying no pressure just yet. Instead, he tenderly massages there, savoring his pulse.]

But I haven't done anything?

[The only harm that had come to Vanitas had been when he'd fed from him. And that had been with Vanitas's permission. Given how seriously the vampire takes that rule, how otherwise it just feels....wrong. Vanitas might need to be rather direct, but eventually, even this idiot should understand. He's rather dense and oblivious, but not entirely so that he doesn't know of such intimacy. In theory, anyway.

There's a pout at his lips before they part when Vanitas's hands go further up to his neck. For some reason, in spite of what Vanitas says, he doesn't make any move to stop him or push him off. Even if he easily could if he wanted to. Unlike Vanitas, his body seems to be unmarked. With no scars or blemishes to reveal the past he had endured.]

[Okay, that gets him laughing, dark and ominously as he bends over Noé to hide his expression, his wicked grin. Moving his hands up from his neck, he traces his jawlines, cupping both cheeks in his hands as he slowly raises his head enough to gaze at the vampire, eyes alight with the fires of contempt.]

You're one of my captors, you realize. Even if you happen to be a pawn, too. You're still a loathsome vampire. I should use you as a bargaining chip to secure my freedom, and maybe I will yet. You seem like the sort who doesn't like others to suffer, am I right?

[Leaning in, he presses another kiss to Noé's lips, lightly nipping at his bottom lip for fun. Even if he's just planning on using the man, he might end up missing this part of his captivity. It's quite nice to have someone to play with, even if they are rather clueless.]
